Basically me, Yourself and Troy were talking about Promo Nergal and wondering if it would be possible to build a nice deck around him.
I thought it would be cool if you could have him stay tapped most of the time to avoid paying the infernal penalty, and make blocking him a mean entering a world of hurt.
I was thinking slap on a concardance on him, bleed with FOW, day operation, and if you get blocked, set range to long with fear of the void below and smack them with Catatonic Fear (though I'm still iffy whether the damage will be aggravated).
I don't even know if FOW is the best for bleeding, since he's got PRE as well, but FOW seems funkier.
I think that the deck should have regenerations as well. Is this deck possible? Of course I am speaking theoretically, because the cards will be hard to come by. I'll see if I can craft a deck soon.

The damage from Catatonic Fear won't be aggravated. And it doesn't deal damage anyway if the combat was a long range.
You don't have to look hard to find ways to untap Nergal without paying the infernal cost. He can use Rutor's Hand, Concordance, Freak Drive (for free once per turn), Majesty (also free once per turn), Change of Target, and Mylan Horseed. Or you can support him with a bunch of Auspex weenies (decent synergy since he also has superior Auspex) and have them do Precognizant Mobility.
If you want to use combat as a deterrent, he need not do anything very fancy. Just have a bunch of Rolling with the Punches, some Conflagrations, a few Blood Furies, and a few Fear of the Void Below. The Rollings and Fears will make him somewhat difficult to put down, and the Conflagrations and Blood Furies will ensure that no one will want to get into a fight with him unless they have the right cards in hand (dodge, S:CE, or Thoughts Betrayed).

Well. True that. FOW is blood intensive, but going for old PRE bleed seems so mundane for the Prince of Hell.
Concordance + Rutor's Hand inferior, a few Freak Drives, Mylan, some PRE bleeds that gain you pool, a few minion taps and some regenerations, some confusion of the eye, a few condemnations like Doom and Mute, etc... and you'd get yourself a pretty solid bruise/bleed deck with ridiculous bloating power.
